This month AAWA is mingling with Shrink Plastic. I hadn't worked with it for a while now, you know - on to something else BUT I use to experiment, make all sorts of jewelry with it, etc.etc. I use both ink jet and "regular" products and have stashed several colors. I had "flamingos" on my mind so thought I would die cut one and shrink it. I used the toaster oven for heat (rather than the heat gun), because this shape with the long legs and neck will often times stick to itself. As you can see it shrunk perfectly.
The final flamingo has been colored (after shrinking) with a Brillance Pink ink. The layered body/wing was covered with the same ink and clear embossing powder.. It's hard to see but it is on an embossed card. I don't know if this will be for the mingle or not - but I can see for the next couple of days I will be shrinking plastic!
