Late Night Stuff

Thanks to all of you that comment on my blog.. To another "old PAL"...special thanks to you. It's late at night and I'm trying something new.

On the AAWA Yahoo list, "Nancy" posted a fun technique. Cut out magazine pictures for an Artist Trading Card, paint gesso on it, let it dry, outline the picture with some permanent ink, color with something, i.e., water colors, let dry, cover with gel medium. Heck, looks like I can draw. Her sample was REALLY wonderful. Mine is just ok. I didn't use a magazine picture, I printed Frida on my ink jet printer (with Dura Brite Inks)... Then followed the above directions. Here's my original drawing... just kidding. It's called a "draw over"...
