Star Fishing for a Thank You

Today, I made tiny thank yous with a new die. When you pull up the fish, I've included a message. Supplies used:

Big Shot Die Cut Machine (Ellison - Sizzix)
Thick Cuts, Star
Fish Die, Sizzix
Embellishments - from my collection
Krylon Spray "Make it Stone in Gold, Paper Finishes"
Card stock - Purple and white.

Spray white cardstock with gold Krylon. Set aside to dry. Once dry, using the diecut machine, cut out the star card and fish. (one side will be white and the other will be the gold texture). Cut 2nd star card from purple cardstock - or color of choice, and glue to the white side of the gold card, creating a liner BUT DON'T glue down the star part. (When the star is folded back it creates a star on each side. Write your message of choice inside the card. I didn't like the white side of each star so I added some color with ink. String the fish with fiber and bead. Run braid or fiber through the slits in the star cut. Add embellishments to the fish as desired and slip it in the card. It will fold flat for mailing. When unfolded, it stands up and could be shrine. (That's what I am standing, a shrine..... really an old shrine.. ha ha)
